The Northern view of the building on a foggy morning reveals the parking lot, building and tenant signage lit. The retail shops along the front of the building will soon have new tenants offering additional shopping opportunities for the Town Center patrons.
When the sun goes down in Grundy, the New Town Center transforms into a beacon at the crossroads for evening shoppers.
This space is currently in the process of interior build-out for its new tenants. Concrete flooring has been poured and wall framing/overhead MEP work are scheduled to begin next week.
Tenant upfit work for Shops B is well underway. Metal stud walls have been framed. Overhead and in-wall MEP is ongoing.

What is the wooden barrier walls for? Are they gonna be permanent? They really ruin the look of the new building…any info would be great…Thanks
Hi DeeDee,
We (the authors of this blog) actually won’t be involved in that construction. JA Street, a local contractor, installed the foundation and will later build that building. The fence is to protect the public from construction.
From what we hear, they are looking at other option other than the fence. A temporary barrier of some sort will be required while that building is being built. We’re not sure of the start date.
